The Slaty Flowerpierce lives in the mountain forest canopy and edges, and especially in sun lit clearings and ares with flowering shrubs, which include gardens. The female builds it's nest from coarse plant material, lined with fine fibres in the shape of a large cup. It is placed 0.4 to 4m up in a dense shrub, grass tussock or pine. The clutch is two speckled pale eggs, which are incubated by the female for 12-14 days to hatching.
This picture looks fantastic in the High Definition Gloss Aluminium or the Lustre Di-Bond, both giving a dramatic effect on your wall.
