Kingfisher 1

The Striped Kingfisher (Halcyon Chelicuti), can be found in most places in Africa. I believe this bird to be a Juvenile. They can grow to around 16 to 18cm from beak to tail. The Striped Kingfisher eats mostly grasshopper’s large insects, small lizards, snakes and rodents.
